PTA Welding equipment

Cladding- and surfacing materials: Mild steel; high % carbon steel; AISI 304 - and 316 - steel; Hastelloy, Inconel and chrome-alloys; Stellite-alloys and ceramic surfaces.

Methods for cladding and surfacing:

Flame spraying: " Cold" method, Fusing method, Wire method process.

PTA-Welding : Plasma Transferred Arc.

Welding method with extreme precision in control of all welding parameters.
Size capacity: Ø2000 x 4000mm.

GMAW (MIG/MAG)-Welding: Semi-automatical. Max. lifting capacity 10.000 kg. E.g. hard-surfacing on wear-segments for vertical coalmills. EN-287 certificates and approved Welding Procedures for welding on Duplex-plate t = 7,5mm-30mm.

GTAW (TIG)-Welding: VHM is certified by Lloyds Shipping Register for welding on offshore gas and oil components. We do also posess EN-287 certificates and approved Welding Procedures for welding on Duplex-tubes.

Strip Welding: Welding crane 4000 x 4000mm, 1000 Amp. welding source.

Crane capacity in welding workshop: max. 10.000 kg

Pressure vessels for all the world:

EU-pressure equipment directive (97/23/EC):

VHM manufactures pressure vessels according to the mentioned directive in AISI 316L- and Duplex-materials.

VHM has certified (e.g. TüV-certified) welders for jobs in mild steel, AISI 304, AISI 316 and Duplex.

Pressure vessels according to ASME Div. VIII, section 1:

VHM Maskinfabrik has since february 2002 been U-stampholder, in order to fabricate pressure vessels in the same high quality as our EU-pressure vessels to markets that are dedicated to the ASME engineering standards.
